Wacky: New document format "prevents" printing to "help environment"

This has to be one of the lamest concepts I've seen in quite awhile.

The WWF ("World Wide Fund For Nature") is pushing a new "green"
(PDF compatible) document format that they're calling ... uh ... WWF.
Actually, it appears to be PDF, but supposedly with the
"environmentally friendly" blocking of the file reader's Print
command! - http://bit.ly/igF8tI (saveaswwf.com)

Let's be clear about this -- they're not claiming this is a security
or privacy feature -- they claim it's a "tree saving" feature.
Apparently they feel that making it a *hassle* to print out documents
will save a whole lot of paper ... and trees.

Of course in reality, when people want to print a doc, they're going
to print a doc. They'll use a screen grabber, or a conversion program
(these are bound to appear virtually immediately), or whatever is
necessary to make their prints.

I'm all for saving trees, but the WWF format earns an immediate
FAIL grade. C'mon guys.
