This is a bug in the Imakefile; kdb5_convert is a program which converts
a Kerberos V4 database to a Kerberos V5 database, and is provided for
backwards compatibility. libkrb.a is the V4 Kerberos library. If you
have not been running Kerberos V4, and so therefore do not need to
convert V4 databases to V5 databases, you do not need the kdb5_convert
program. If you don't need the kdb5_convert, all you need to do is to
remove kdb5_convert from the list of subdirectories in admin/Imakefile.
In the next release, there will be a #define to control whether or not
kdb5_convert will be built.

My apologies for your inconvenience.
