Hola,
I am SysAdmin for a small (but successful! ;-) ) CAD shop that has found a
market for providing secure Internet connecivity services for many of our
corporate clientele. We have implemented many different methods and
products for securing the data of our clientele. However, the methods of
detection implemented in many of these packages is pretty lame, or
completely nonexistent. We will be developing some IDS applications and
tools, potentially as marketable products.
Naturally, the need for accurate and timely detection is there, and there
seems to be a gap in that area of the market (whatever the market is
today, and whatever it will be tomorrow...). Perhaps with some discussion
here, we can fill that gap.
