As a new subscriber I have been asked briefly to introduce myself. I am
one of a staff of 11 administering several large/fast Unix systems used
for scientific computing at NIH. My interests and responsibilities
include security monitoring.
I learned of the ids list from the most recent issue of the Security
Mailing Lists FAQ.
