The AUSCERT UNIX Security Checklist has been extensively revised and
updated (version 1.1). AUSCERT says they'll release further versions, so
please check for new versions periodically.

The address of the current version of the Checklist is:

> ftp://ftp.auscert.org.au/pub/auscert/papers/unix_security_checklist

Previous versions may be available with the version number as suffix:
check it out.

AUSCERT is the AUStralian Computer Emergency Response Team. For
registration information, see their web site on:

   http://www.auscert.org.au/

For more details, contact AUSCERT directly on auscert@auscert.org.au
