Now don't take this personal ;-)

A number of you out there have basically asked to be broken in to. You
have given OS versions, server and workstation counts, and are now
asking in a public forum if you have all the patches loaded...

But I am sure there are NO hackers that subscribe to this list ;-)

hiya,
i do hope yo have all the latest Sun patches on your machines?
also how do you manage network information? do you use NIS? or NIS+?
or do you use a homebrew system? i suggest you might also want to join
the firewalls mailing list.. <firewalls-request@greatcircle.com>
anyway you'll find there is plenty to learn, you best bet would
probably be to go through some of the ids and firewalls archives.
