Greetings all,

I wanted to introduce myself to the group and say hello. I am a graduate
student in Mechanical Engineering, with the additional responsibility of
acting as the departmental systems administrator. Being a subnet of a
major university however, I constantly have to be on the lookout for
security incidents, both internal and external. This list seemed a
likely place to learn more about effective means of intrusion detection
and security maintenance.

Regards,
Hans Sonneborn
