Hello Debbie -

Thanks for getting that information. The break-even point for on-site
training seems to be at 5 students. ($300/day * 5 students = $1500). I can
already see sending at least 1 faculty liaison, 2 from TPS and 2 consultants,
and so it looks as if an on-site course would be the way to go. If it's
hands on, we could arrange to have the training in 1-115. Do you know if the
Text & Graphics course includes any of the more complex topics, or if it is a
prerequisite for the other classes? Do you have a syllabus among the
material that was faxed to you? Possibly the Text & Graphics course is too
simple, and we'd want to sign up for the more complex classes instead.
Better yet, maybe with an on-site class we can put together our own syllabus
out of topics from across the various courses.

Anyhow, the idea of some on-site training sounds good to me, and perhaps you
and Phyllis can follow up on just how to put together what's right for our
needs if other folks agree. I assume that the cost for each individual would
come out of the budget for training in that person's group.
