Hello, Phyllis... about the problem with Frame not showing anything in
any windows -- were there any error messages in the console window,
or in the xterm you started Frame from?
I think the problem is that the background that you were using used up all
or nearly all of the available color cells, so that when Frame tried
to allocate colors for itself, it was unable to. I'm not sure if Frame
then just gave up, or tried to do a nearest match algorithm from the
existing colormap color cells... it sounds like it just kept on going
anyway.
