Hi everyone,

As I mentioned at the Senate meeting on Monday, we are still looking for
students interested in serving on a few Institute Committees. Please *forward
this email* to anyone you think might be interested in serving on:

*Committee on Library Systems: *formulates policy for the administration of
the Libraries, with the advice of the Director of Libraries, consistent with
the objectives of the Institute. It serves as a liaison between the
Libraries and their users. The committee shall review budget allocations as
prepared annually by the Director of Libraries.
*
ROTC Oversight Committee*: monitors the partnership between the campus ROTC
programs and MIT, working closely with the senior MIT administrator
responsible for ROTC. The committee responds to issues as they arise and
makes recommendations for changes in policy and operational matters where
appropriate.
*
MIT-Online Study Group*: explores the feasibility of extending MIT's
educational leadership, excellence and impact, domestically and worldwide,
through the possible use of online tools, and potentially offering different
levels of certification using MIT content.

Don't hesitate to contact ua-nomcomm@mit.edu with applications or questions.

Alex
