Good morning,
After having solicited applications from the undergraduate body at large,
conducting a number of interviews, and giving each applicant careful
thought, I have come to a conclusion as to who will best serve as UA Vice
President.
I am very pleased to announce that I will nominate TyShaun Wynter to serve
as UA Vice President. TyShaun is a fresh face to the UA, but has held
leadership positions in MIT's ROTC and in his own dorm, New House. He
presented himself as a quick learner and critical thinker, skills I think
are very necessary for this position.
After interviewing four qualified candidates, I feel confident that TyShaun
is the right person for the job. I hope you will help me in welcoming him
to the UA, and help us both as we begin to tackle the issues facing
undergrads.
