Thank you for electing me as Speaker and Karan as Vice Speaker.
We mentioned at Senate a meeting on concrete suggestions for Senate next
year. You should all come. We are going to start it at 1pm on Sunday and
run it until 3pm and 5pm to 6pm. I envision people coming in for 30
minutes (or longer if you so want) hear what other people have said and
say what you have to say.
Also, email us. One of my goals is to change Senate so that more of you
will return to be Senators next year. Suggest changes and make
expectations. If we can't meet those expectations, we will tell you.
A few interesting questions:
What did you want to do when you were first elected?
What have been impediments to accomplishing things / what was
successful?
What would make you not be Senator next year? What would make you be
Senator next year?
Any and all responses are valid. For example, I hate the Speaker and
think he should lose his tongue in a tragic lab accident is a valid but
not very useful response.
