------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear MIT students & student representatives,

A number of students have signed up to participate in the Division of Stude=
nt Life student visioning sessions. There are about 10 spots left in each o=
f these two evenings:

Thursday, February 17, 7:30-9PM, Grad Student Council, 50-220
Wednesday, February 23, 7:30-9PM, DAPER Conference Room, W35-299

The sessions are designed to solicit your ideas on the trends you think wil=
l influence incoming MIT students in the next 3-5 years. If you would like =
to participate, please RSVP to Alicja Estabrooks at estabroa@mit.edu <mailt=
o:estabroa@mit.edu> and tell her which session you can attend. Please resp=
ond promptly, as each session is filling up.

Participants will be sent a list of key questions in advance and a simple d=
escription of how this exercise works. Please note the focus is to understa=
nd student expectations in the coming 3-5 years, to discover trends of stra=
tegic importance, and to consider how they may influence DSL's operations a=
nd services. We have received positive feedback from other stakeholders and=
partners who have participated in these sessions, and we have learned much=
from each other. I hope several more of you will be able to share your tho=
ughts with us in the same way.

Thank you, Bob Ferrara '67
