I'm all in support of including Jed and Kerri (and other interested
parties) in
an advisory role and agree with Alex's assessment/quote that they are
enthusiastic to do whatever they can to help. I'm trying to think of specific
things we can ask them, use their experience for.

some random things that may or may not make sense:

I know one thing I've been talking to Kerri about (and Jed some too) is the
increase and rate of increase of the number of recognized student groups (and
consequently the number apply for funding from the various sources). I'm still
try to get more accurate historical numbers, but basically the number and rate
of recognition are increasing. Part of this is an ASA issue, but at least the
financial implications could be something for FPRC to discuss.

Along the same lines... a more technical issue (compared to the policy
concern)
is the mechanics of dealing with all of this money flowing around. (ie
submitting receipts, getting checks, quantity processed, processing speed,
etc.) I guess the way this applies to policy is that since groups are
required
to have internal finances the system should work for them.

I can't think of anything else right now, but they probably have some ideas
themselves...

ps - Jed is out of town right now for a couple of weeks, but Kerri is
around (as
far as I'm aware) although she's probably a tad busy closing out the fiscal
year.
