Hey guys,
I was just approved as Enrollment Chair yesterday at Senate, and as I
elaborated there, I want to get this report finished and awesome before
the year ends.
If you're interested in serving on this committee, I'd love to have your
input as a member. Send email to ua-enrollment-chairs@mit.edu, please :)
Ideally, the Enrollment Committee would have a brief meeting before
break to coordinate, but communication over email should suffice if that
isn't possible at this phase.
There's a lot of topics this report needs to address, so brainstorming
the complete list is probably the first step. I plan on writing up a
bunch of thoughts in report prose form over spring break (and maybe even
some before), so that we can come back and discuss a lot of these in a
semi-concrete way. If you want to help with this early phase of the
report, you are certainly encouraged to do so. (Note: this is not to
steer the report, but to get the ball rolling.)
After that, we'd have regular meetings to hash out the report and make
it complete and presentable to Senate.
We'll also be working with SCEP on the academic component. They've
already done a good deal of work to that end.
