Hey again everyone,
Some of you may be familiar with the Cookies and Conversation events that
took place last semester. It is basically an informal opportunity to meet up
with other students and Deans Colombo, Lerman and Hastings (and occasionally
the Chancellor) to discuss what is happening on campus. DUE typically hires
a note taker to take minutes on the conversation. Free cookies, drinks, and
$25 tech cash are provided to those who take minutes. Both Liz and I have
done this before and it's a pretty nice deal.
Two events for the Spring have been scheduled (Thurs., Feb 25th from
7:30pm-9pm and Mon., April 12th from 7:30pm-9pm). If you think you'd be
interested in taking notes for one (or both) of the sessions, please shoot
me an email.
