Also, I think it would be great if CSL could bring in the AILG on
these talks. We met with Steve Baker tonight from the AILG, and he
said they are going to be talking about their potential involvement
with SafeRide at the next meeting. Personally, I think the AILG is a
great answer to saving the SafeRide program, and they could probably
benefit from both student support and the data concerning SafeRide.
They currently provide grants and low-interest loans to FSILGs, and I
think there is potential for them to endow SafeRide or at least help
subsidize operations.
