I write to invite you, as members of the UA leadership, to attend the
launch of the new MIT-Stanford Wormhole connection tomorrow afternoon,
Monday, November 7, at 2pm in the Stata Center=92s Forbes Family Caf=E9. Th=
e
Wormhole is a 24/7 direct link created through a generous gift from Bert
=9166 and Candace Forbes. The program will include guest presenters from bo=
th
campuses, the Forbes, a demonstration by the inventor Kevin Brown =9288 of
Brown Innovations, and cake and ice cream to celebrate the inauguration.
The Libraries=92 AMPS program is the MIT operator of the Wormhole. Check ou=
t
the Wormhole=92s background in a Tech article published last August at
http://tech.mit.edu/V131/N31/wormhole.html.
Hope to see you on Monday if you can make it. I would appreciate it if this
