ImageMagick version 6.0.6 has been installed in the graphics
locker.  The new version will become visible overnight.

ImageMagick provides a collection of commands that can be used to
manipulate images.  "display" will display an image, "convert"
can be used to resize an image or convert it to a different
format, "mogrify" can be used to convert many images in one
command.  A full list of commands is in the ImageMagick man page.

To use the ImageMagick commands, first
  add graphics

For more information about the ImageMagick commands, see
either the man page, "man ImageMagick", or the the web page at
 /mit/graphics/share/ImageMagick-6.0.6/www/index.html

(A technical footnote: To support the new ImageMagick, the zlib,
libpng, libjpeg, and libtiff libraries in the graphics locker
were updated to recent versions.)
