Two little RS6000 ditties have been added outland locker that some people may
find vaguely useful.
1) ldd - It thrilled you on Sun platform ... now coming to a RS6000 near you
... the list dynamic dependencies util. If you've ever wanted to
know what shared libraries an RS6000 was using, this the the utility
for you. And for you developers out there, who in your infinite
wisdom compile programs on the RS6000 with the LIBPATH environment
variable but forget to explicitly define the load path using the -L
flag, now you can test whether your programs will work in the default
Athena environment.
2) utmpclean - Have you every logged on to an RS6000, typed 'who', and found
out that you are not alone. Now there's no need to join that
that private militia because you think the Government is spying
on you. Just become root user and run utmpclean. Before you
know it, that pesky interloper has disappear - and you didn't
have to reboot. Perfect for that paranoid schizophrenic in
your neighborhood.
