I've updated the Open Office office productivity suite on Athena for
Sun and Linux to release 1.1. To run it:
add ooffice
ooffice -ver 1.1.0
There are a couple of informational READMEs in:
/mit/ooffice_v1.1.0/distrib/sun4x_59/OpenOffice.org1.1.0 and
/mit/ooffice_v1.1.0/distrib/i386_rh9/OpenOffice.org1.1.0
Local configuration is similar to the prior release, and separate by platform;
files are in ~/.OpenOffice.org1.1.0.$ATHENA_SYS, pointed to by a
~/OpenOffice.org1.1.0 symlink.
Mozilla is now preset to open Web links, and autosave is on by default
(silent, at 5 min intervals). This has one annoyance- when you first
create a document, if you don't save it immediately it will beep at
you and ask if you want to save it after the first 5 minutes; this
only happens once.
