SAS on Athena updated to release 8.2

I've updated the SAS statistics package on Athena to release 8.2 (Sun
only). To run it now, do:
add sas
sas -ver 8.20 &
at the Athena prompt. We don't intend to make it the Athena default until
Summer 2002.
In order to use all the features of the online documentation, you will
need to have both Javascript and Java enabled in Netscape (they are
both on by default). A good starting point for new feature
information is:
Help -> SAS System Help -> What's New in Release 8.2?
The SAS Institute also has information about new features
on their Web site, starting at
http://www.sas.com/service/library/onlinedoc/v82/whatsnew/
The user's local SAS configuration directory is named sasuser.820 in
this release. It has been changed from the vendor default (sasuser.800)
because we've been informed that there are some incompatibilities between
8.00 and 8.20 configuration files. This means that you will need to recreate
any customizations you have made when you run release 8.20.
