The Go compiler on Athena has been updated to 1.7.4 and this version has
been made the default. Usage instructions are at
http://ist.mit.edu/mode/1403#Go and release notes are at
https://golang.org/doc/go1.7
Additionally, the gccgo compiler has been updated to 1.6 as part of the
updated gcc compiler suite in the gcc-6plus locker. Usage instructions
for that are also at the first URL above.
