I've updated MATLAB on Athena to 8.5/R2015a. From my message to users:
Matlab 8.5 has been installed (they also call it R2015a). Release notes
are at=20

Additional information is at

Known issue: in the internal help browser, printing may not work.
Workaround: use option to open page in browser, and print from the
browser.

To run 8.5 now:
=20
add matlab
matlab -ver 8.5 (terminal window interface)
matlab -ver 8.5 -desktop (Java GUI)
It will be made the default version after the end of the current
semester.
