I've updated the Julia programming language on Athena. From my message to
users:

Julia on Athena has been updated to the 0.3.5 (2015-01-08 22:33 UTC)
production release, and the new Juno runtime/development environment has
been added.

To run it:

   add julia
   julia (command-line version)
   ijulia (ipython GUI version) *=20
   Juno (Juno runtime/development environment)

to run the prior 0.3.1-pre+40 (2014-08-28 08:46 UTC) release:

   add julia
   julia -ver 0.3 (command-line version)
ijulia -ver 0.3 (ipython GUI version)

* see http://web.mit.edu/julia_v0.3.5/README.athena for initial setup

Julia is configured so that add-on packages are installed in ~/.julia in
your home directory. Please see
=20
http://web.mit.edu/julia_v0.3.5/README.athena=20

for important additional information. Please note that due to the
upgrade, you may need to delete or rename your ~/.julia and
~/.config/ipython directories, and delete or rename your
~/.julia_history file for compatibility.

                                                Alex
