Maple 7 installed on Athena

The Maple symbolic math application has been updated to release 7.0 for
all Athena platforms. To run it now, do:
add maple
maple -ver 7.0 &
at the Athena prompt. We are planning to make it the Athena default later
this Summer if testing results are favorable. Please help us with this
and send mail to the Email address below if you run into problems.

mint is temporarily unavailable but we expect to fix this shortly.
You will run into a slight problem when running it with the sawfish
Window Manager in the Athena 9.0 release- the border around the outer
window will be missing, making it impossible to resize the window by
grabbing the edge or corner of the window with the mouse. You can fix
this by right-clicking on the top title bar of the very outermost
window, and picking Frame Type -> Normal from the cascade menus that
appear. We expect this to be fixed soon in an upcoming Athena patch
release.
