I've updated the Maple symbolic algebra package on Athena to release 18
but have not yet made it the default version. From my message to users:
Maple 18 has been installed on Athena. To run it now, type:
add maple
maple.java -ver 18.0 &
at the Athena prompt. We are planning to make it the Athena default
after the end of the current semester. Please help test it and send
mail to 3partysw@mit.edu if you run into problems.
