I've updated the POV-Ray ray tracing application on Athena to 3.7.0.
To run it, type:
add povray
povray +Ifile.pov <options>
where file.pov is an image description file in POV-Ray format. From my
message to users:
POV-Ray has been updated to 3.7.0 and this release has been made the
default. An online manual is at
http://web.mit.edu/povray_v3.7.0/share/doc/povray-3.7/html/index.html

A new epspline utility has been added

To run it:
add povray
epspline &
To run the prior 3.6.1 release for a limited time:
add povray
povray -ver 3.6.1 +Ifile.pov <options>
