I've updated Stanford University Unstructured on Athena to 3.0. SU2 is a
suite of open source software tools for performing partial differential
equation analysis and solving PDE constrained optimization problems.
To use it:
add su2
<su2 program> <config file>
where <su2 program> is one of the programs in the SU2 suite. Usage is
complex- please consult the documentation for details.
>From my message to users:
SU2 3.0 is now available and has been made the default. We've changed
the locker initialization command from "add" to "setup", so please type:
setup su2
<su2 program> <config file>
and run SU2 commands as in the second line above in the window that
opens.
We are now building the SU2 binaries with MPI support, so it's possible
to run computations in parallel, up to the maximum number of processing
cores in Athena machines (currently this is 4).
To run the prior 2.0 now:
add -f su2_v2.0
<su2 program> <config file>
