I have updated WebEQ on Athena to release 2.5.1 for all
platforms. WebEQ is a Java application that allows users to embed
mathematical equations and notation in Web pages; it also comes with a
Netscape-installable applet that allows some dynamic behavior.
To run the new release, do:
setup webeq_v2.5.1
and follow the instructions in the window that appears. Documentation and
examples are available starting from URL
http://web.mit.edu/webeq_v2.5.1/WebEQ/2.5/welcome.html
I plan to make it the default version during IAP. At that time,
setup webeq
will start the new release.
