I've updated the NetBeans SDK on Athena to 7.1. To run it:
add netbeans
netbeans &

NetBeans 7.1 has been installed and made the default.
You can run the prior release by launching as:
add netbeans
netbeans -ver 7.0.1
User configuration files will be stored below a ~/.netbeans/7.1
directory in your home directory. The "What's New" button on the
start page will point you to information about new features in
this release.
A selection of add-on modules has also been installed. You can see which
ones by selecting Tools -> Plugins and selecting the Installed tab.
A number of formerly installed plugins are not present as they're no
longer available.
