I've updated Matlab on Athena to 7.13 (R2011b). From my message to
users:
Matlab 7.13 has been installed and made the default (they also call it
R2011b). Many of the Toolboxes have been updated (use Matlab "ver"
command for versions). As before, the lpsolve linear programming
solver and Maple Toolbox have been added to the locker.
