I have updated the Cerius2 computational chemistry application, part
of the Molecular Simulations software suite on Athena, to release 4.5.
From my message announcing this to users online:
Cerius2 4.5 is now available. To run it, type "add molsim; cerius2-4.5" at the
Athena prompt. This is a Life Science release. The prior 4.2 release
(type: add molsim; cerius2-4.2 to run) is a Materials Science release.
On Indys, you may see an error message in the console about:
4Dwm: Menu specification 4DwmWindowMenu not found
This seems to not interfere with running the program but unfortunately there
is no obvious way to turn it off.
Documentation and release notes highlighting new features are
available on the vendor's documentation Web site
(http://www.msi.com/doc/cerius45/index.html). (use user ID: msi and
password: msi-doc to get in).
