Netbeans on athena has been updated to 7.0 beta. To run it:
add netbeans
nebeans &

NetBeans 7.0 beta has been installed and made the default.
This is a beta release, and you are likely to get various warnings and
errors in the launch window. If any of these prevent you from using
the application, please send mail to 3partysw@mit.edu. Bugs are
best reported via Help -> Report Issue. You can revert to the prior
stable release by launching as:
add netbeans
netbeans -ver 6.9
User configuration files will be stored below a ~/.netbeans/7.0beta
directory in your home directory. The "What's New" button on the
start page will point you to information about new features in
this release.
A selection of add-on modules has also been installed. You can see which
ones by selecting Tools -> Plugins and selecting the Installed tab.
