I've installed the Reduce symbolic algebra package on Athena. from my
message to users:
The Reduce symbolic algebra package is now available on Athena. Reduce
has been around for a long time but has only recently been Open Sourced.
To run it:
add reduce
reduce (GUI version)
reduce -w (text mode)

Please note that this version of Reduce is in early development and that
there are likely to be bugs; in particular, printing is known not to
work.
