I've updated Mathematica on Athena to 8.0.0. From my message to users:
Mathematica has been updated to 8.0.0. To run this release now:
add math
mathematica -ver 8.0.0 & (for the GUI interface)
math -ver 8.0.0 (for the command-line interface)
We intend to make it the default after the end of the current term.
This is a major upgrade, involving significant new functionality. For
