The Debathena Project is happy to announce the availability of Debathena
for Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" for beta testing, in the
'maverick-proposed' repository. Please help us out by testing out the
software and sending us feedback.
If you are already running Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx, you can upgrade by
adding 'lucid-proposed' entries (which will get converted to
'maverick-proposed' by the upgrader) to the file
/etc/apt/sources.list.d/debathena.list and running the standard Ubuntu
release upgrader. For more information on the Ubuntu upgrade process and
the -proposed repositories, see

If you are installing a new machine, you can install via the manual
installation instructions:
http://debathena.mit.edu/advanced-installation
Make sure to add lines for both 'maverick' and 'maverick-proposed' to your
sources.list file.
We support the debathena-standard, debathena-login,
debathena-login-graphical, and debathena-workstation metapackages on
Ubuntu 10.10. We will not be upgrading the clusters to Ubuntu 10.10 and do
not intend to formally support the debathena-cluster or
debathena-thirdparty metapackages on Ubuntu 10.10. The clusters will be
upgraded to Ubuntu 11.04 next summer.
