I've updated OpenFOAM on Athena to release 1.6. OpenFOAM is a set of tools
for solving computational fluid dynamics and continuum mechanics problems.
The applications are technical and complex and there is a significant
learning curve; you will need to study the documentation and examples
in order to get started. To set up for use:
setup openfoam
and run commands in the window that opens. From my message to users:
OpenFOAM on Athena has been updated to the latest 1.6 release (incorporating
patches from the git repository). Release notes are available at
http://web.mit.edu/openfoam_v1.6/ReleaseNotes-1.6. A pdf user manual is at
http://web.mit.edu/UserGuide.pdf and a programming guide at
http://web.mit.edu/ProgrammersGuide.pdf.
