I've updated the TeXmacs document authoring application on Athena to 1.0.7 for
debathena machines. To run it:
add texmacs
texmacs
From my message to users:
TeXmacs on Athena has been updated to 1.0.7 for debathena machines and is now
the default for that platform. Athena 9 machines are not supported, and will
continue to run the prior 1.0.6 release.
This version can run a significant number of math application sessions
(see Insert -> Session for a list); the octave launcher unfortunately is
broken and octave can't be run within TeXmacs.
Release notes are available via Help -> About -> Change log
TexMacs puts user-specific configuration settings in a directory
~/.TeXmacs. We have made this version-specific by renaming it as
.TeXmacs107, with a symbolic link ~/.TeXmacs pointing to this
directory. If you had a previous ~/.TeXmacs directory from using an
older release, it will be saved as ~/.TeXmacs.106sav
