I've made Open Office 2.4.1 the Athena default version. From my message to
users:
Open Office 2.4.1 has been installed on Athena and is now the default.
To run the prior 2.3.1 for a limited time:
ooffice -ver 2.3.1 &
In the default configuration, it uses the same local configuration
directory structure used by prior 2.x versions, an architecture-specific
tree for Sun or Linux pointed to by a ~/.openoffice.org2 symlink by
default.
