I've updated the AbiWord Word processor on Athena to 2.6.2 for Linux. From
my message to users:

AbiWord on Athena has been updated to release 2.6.2 for Linux machines (it
wouldn't compile correctly on Suns). Release notes are at

http://www.abisource.com/release-notes/2.6.2.phtml

To run it now:

        add abiword
        abiword -ver 2.6.2 &

There is local online help starting from

http://web.mit.edu/abiword_v2.6.2/share/abiword-2.6/help/en-US/index.html

We expect to make it the Linux default after the end of the current semester.
