I've updated Geneious on Athena to 3.5.6 and made it the default
(Linux). Geneious is an integrated bioinformatics tool suite for
manipulating, finding, sharing and exploring biological data such as
DNA sequences or proteins, phylogenies, 3D structure information,
publications etc.
To run it:
add geneious
geneious &

Geneious on Athena has been updated to 3.5.6 (free version) and this
has been made the default (Linux only). For release notes and new
features follow Help -> Online Resources -> Release Notes within the
GUI. To run the prior 2.5.4 for a limited time:
add geneious
geneious -ver 2.5.4 &
There is online help and tutorial material within the application, and
a pdf manual is at http://web.mit.edu/geneious_v3.5.6/GeneiousManual.pdf.
