I've updated the Eclipse SDK on Athena to the current stable 3.3.1.1
production release, and also to the 3.4M4 prerelease. 3.4M4 has the
C/C++ 5.0.0 and Subclipse 1.2.4 plugins, but not Pydev. To run 3.3.3.1:
add eclipse-sdk
eclipse
From my message to users:
Eclipse on Athena has been updated to release 3.3.1.1 and has been made the
default.
Please read file /mit/eclipse-sdk_v3.3.1.1/README.athena in the
eclipse-sdk_v3.3.1.1 locker for important information about workspace
configuration and extra plugins.
IMPORTANT: read the file above before running File -> Switch Workplace.
Besides the "traditional" plugins, the following additional ones are
now installed:
CDT (C/C++ projects) 4.0.1
Pydev/Pydev extensions 1.3.11
Subclipse 1.2.4
JavaHL support for Subclipse is available.
The Java version used depends on the "current" link in the
java locker- at this writing, 1.6.0_04.
Development version 3.4M4 has also been installed. To run it:
add eclipse_v3.4m4
eclipse
