I've installed K3DSurf on Athena for Sun and Linux. K3DSurf is an application
for displaying 3d (and higher dimensional, up to 6d) mathematical objects

Unfortunately there is minimal documentation and the interface is a bit
idiosyncratic, but it's fairly intuitive and there are quite a few examples
built into the interface. Files sample1.k3ds and sample2.k3ds at the top
level of the k3dsurf_v0.6.2 locker show the syntax for save files, and the
author site at http://k3dsurf.sourceforge.net has some additional information
