I've updated the Erlang programming language on Athena to R11-B5. From
my message to users:
Erlang on Athena has been updated to the R11B-5 release. To access the
R11B-5 Erlang shell/runtime now:
add erlang
erl -ver R11B-5
At the erl > prompt, you can launch the toolbar by typing:
toolbar:start().
and you can exit the runtime by typing
halt().
There is introductory information with examples at
http://web.mit.edu/erlang_vR10B-10/white_paper.html and an online Erlang
course at http://www.erlang.org/course/course.html. Other information
is available at the Erlang Web site http://www.erlang.org
Local documentation with release notes starts at
http://web.mit.edu/erlang_vR11B-5/arch/sun4x_510/lib/erlang/doc/index.html
I plan to make this the default version during IAP 2008.
