I've updated the NetBeans development environment on Athena to the 5.5.1
production release, and the 6.0 M10 development release. To run 5.5.1:
add netbeans
netbeans
From my message to users:
NetBeans 5.5.1 has been installed and is now the default. To run the prior
5.5 for a limited time:
add netbeans
netbeans -ver 5.5
User configuration files will be stored below a ~/.netbeans/<version>
directory in your home directory. The "What's New" button on the
Welcome screen will point you to information about new features in
this release.
The Profiler, C/C++ and visual Web packs are included with the installation.
In addition, we have installed the 6.0 M10 development version including most
of the available plugins. To run that version:
add netbeans_v6.0m10
