I've updated the Eclipse software development kit on Athena to 3.3 and
made it the default. To run it:
add eclipse-sdk
eclipse &
From my message to users:
Please read file /mit/eclipse-sdk_v3.3/README.athena in the
eclipse-sdk_v3.3 locker for important information about workspace
configuration and extra plugins.
IMPORTANT: read the file above before running File -> Switch Workplace.
Besides the "traditional" plugins, the following additional ones are
now installed:
CDT (C/C++ projects) 4.0.0
Pydev/Pydev extensions 1.3.8
Subclipse 1.2.3
JavaHL support for Subclipse is now working on Sun as well as Linux.
The Java version used depends on the "current" link in the
java locker- at this writing, 1.6.0_02.
