I've installed Meep, MPB and Harminv (with related utilities) on
Athena for Linux machines. These are specialized, technical command-line
applications:
Meep is a finite-difference time-domain simulation application.
MPB (MIT Photonic-Bands) is an application for computing
definite-frequency eigenstates of Maxwell's equations in periodic
dielectric structures.
Harminv is a program for performing harmonic inversion of a
discrete-time, finite-length signal.
Usage instructions and pointers to documentation and tutorials can be found
