I've installed OpenDX on Athena for Sun and Linux. OpenDX is an Open
Source 3d data visualization application, based on the former commercial
application Visualization Data Explorer from IBM. To run it:
add opendx
dx &
The system has a great deal of functionality but is complex, and you are
unlikely to be able to do much unless you work through the extensive online
documentation and examples, starting from:
