I've installed kaffe 0.9.0 in the jolt locker for Solaris, Irix, and
Linux. Kaffe is a Java virtual machine. Version 0.9.0 uses the Java
1.1 class libraries, except that it doesn't support the AWT. The main
advantage of Kaffe over the Sun VM is that Kaffe is free software.
The main disadvantage is that that it doesn't currently have an AWT.
